Bring us the work that is getting in the way.

Come to Genesis with the work that is getting in the way. We can examine what needs to change, build a defined workflow or internal app, or help your people develop the capability themselves.

01 · Understand what needs improving

The Audit

We examine the agreed part of your business by speaking to the people involved and opening the records the work depends on.

You receive a Findings Report explaining what we found and why it matters, an Action Plan setting out what should happen in what order and who owns each step, and a session in which we take your people through both.

Discuss an Audit

What you receive

  • A clear account of what the evidence shows
  • The problems, risks and opportunities that matter
  • Recommended changes in the order they should be made
  • Named responsibility for the next steps
  • A presentation and working discussion with your people

Make unclear work ready to improve

Groundwork

Sometimes the useful first step is not software. It is making the work clear enough for the right tool.

We help document the procedure, establish which records give the dependable answer, clarify responsibilities and name who checks the result. This can prepare a workflow for improvement or automation without forcing a tool onto work that is not ready for one.

What we will not do

We will not automate a process that nobody can explain or place a tool on records that contradict one another.

02 · Build a defined solution

Workflows, apps and internal software

If you already know the job that needs fixing, bring it to us. We will establish whether it is defined well enough to scope directly or whether a focused Audit should come first.

01

Connected workflows

A new enquiry enters once, creates the right internal task, prepares the follow-up and shows who must approve the next step.

02

Internal apps

A focused application handles requests, approvals or scheduling that a growing spreadsheet can no longer manage properly.

03

Dashboards and reporting

Orders, workload or service exceptions appear in one operational view built from the records the business already keeps.

04

Knowledge and decision support

A team asks a question and receives an answer linked to the approved business documents from which it came.

These are illustrative examples, not client case studies. Every build is scoped separately. It names what the tool may do, which records it may use, who checks its work and what happens when something fails.

03 · Develop the capability inside your team

The Augmented Business Tool Department Programme

An Audit-first, one-year programme combining learning, practical work and handover around your business.

The Audit establishes whether the programme fits and what it should address. Participants then develop the skills and methods to understand workflows, work with records, build bounded tools and check the results. The work is tied to what the business needs, so the capability can stay inside the organisation.

One check, from source records to a human decision.

The Specimen shows how a recurring supplier-invoice check can be organised without allowing the tool to make the business decision.

Questions before you choose.

Do I always need an Audit first?

A defined workflow or build need may sometimes be scoped directly. Bring it to the first conversation and we will establish what is still unclear. The Augmented Business Tool Department Programme is different: it always begins with the Audit, which establishes whether the programme fits and what it should address.

Can you work with the tools we already use?

Yes, where they are suitable for the job. The solution may use an existing platform, connect systems you already have or require separately scoped software. The choice follows the work.

Who makes the final business decision?

Your people do. Each piece of work identifies what the tool may do, who checks the output and when the work must stop for a person to decide.

What happens after a tool is introduced?

The agreed scope covers testing, written procedures, responsibility and handover. Continuing support can be discussed where the business needs it.

How work begins

Tell us which job keeps getting in the way.

You do not need to know which service you need. Bring the task, delay or recurring problem. We will start by understanding how the work happens now and what a useful next step would be. A discovery call is the initial conversation about that work and whether Genesis is the right fit.
